Shabbat Service:Entering His Rest
A Sacred Gathering of Worship, Word, and Rest in Yeshua the Messiah
Saturday morning 10:30am-11:30am

“Just what is the Sabbath (Shabbat)?” You may be asking?
The word “Shabbat” simply means rest.
Did you know:

•

Why Do We Choose to Rest? Not out of obligation, but out of relationship with God.
Just as He rested, we rest, physically and spiritually, to honor Him and refresh our souls.
Shabbat points to:
➡ The finished work of Yeshua (Jesus) on the cross (Hebrews 4:9–10).
➡ Our spiritual rest in Him.
➡ The future world of peace in God’s Kingdom (Revelation 21:4).
Come learn how a Shabbat service is done! What Happens at Our Shabbat Service?

It’s a time of worship, fellowship, and joy in Messiah.
IMPORTANT!
Observing Shabbat as Gentile believers does NOT mean “trying to be Jewish.” It means:
• Obeying God out of love.
• Trusting Him to provide (Exodus 16:29–30).
• And more importantly, joining Jewish and Gentile believers in Messiah as one family! (Isaiah 56:6–7)
We’re not Seventh-Day Adventists, we’re Messianic believers. What does that mean? We follow Jesus (Yeshua) and honor the Hebraic foundations of our faith:
• Yeshua is at the center.
• We keep the Sabbath.
• We celebrate the biblical feasts.
• We choose to walk in God’s commandments out of love.
We’ve been keeping Shabbat as a congregation for over 10 years, and it has brought us blessing, peace, and joy. The Bible even promises a special blessing for Gentiles (non-Jews) who keep the Sabbath (Isaiah 56:6–7)!
