AFTER THE RESURRECTION: Why didn't Jesus ascend right away?
Did you know that after Jesus (Yeshua) resurrected from the dead, He remained on the earth for 40 days before ascending to the right hand of the Father? (Acts 1:3)
It’s true! But why?
Scripture shows us that Jesus was crucified during Passover, buried during Unleavened Bread, and rose on the third day on Firstfruits. Each of these powerful moments took place during the appointed times or holy days of the Lord found in Leviticus 23.

Shavuot also known as Pentecost.
Acts 2 tells us this is the day the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples, empowering them to take the Gospel to the nations.
This morning we’re diving into this powerful season from Passover to Shavuot, and uncovering the significance of the 40 days Jesus, Yeshua remained on the earth… and what He was doing during that time? Listen in to find out!
