Who we are
Grace of God Community Church is a Messianic, Bible-based teaching ministry. Being "Messianic" means that while our faith is fully centered on Yeshua (Jesus in Hebrew), our Messiah (where the term "messianic" is derived), we also worship and express that faith in a way that’s rooted in the Jewish foundations of Scripture. As Gentiles (non-Jews), we stand together with Jewish believers in Yeshua, united in our shared faith — both locally and beyond — as one family in Messiah.
Our faith and practice embrace the rich, biblical traditions of our faith — like observing the Sabbath (Shabbat) on Saturday, celebrating biblical feasts like Passover and Sukkot, honoring the Torah (God’s instructions), and diving deep into the study of both the Old and New Testaments. We believe both are equally important and relevant for followers of Yeshua (Jesus) today, offering timeless truth that speaks to our lives, our circumstances, and the world around us. For us, this isn’t about legalism — it’s about drawing closer to God with our whole hearts, growing in wisdom, and living according to His ways, just like Yeshua and His disciples did. We do this united in love and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
We are passionate about helping fellow believers explore the rich history of their faith, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and grow closer to Yeshua (Jesus) by rediscovering the Jewish roots of our faith. We believe this helps us better understand the Hebrew context of the Scriptures, as well as the life, mission, and ministry of Yeshua and the Apostles. The salvation story of the Bible reveals God’s plan, through Yeshua, to unite all people — both Jews and Gentiles — as one holy people, called to love and worship Him forever. Whether you’re new to the Messianic faith or looking to dive deeper into the Scriptures, we’d love for you to join us, whether in person or online. And if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!
