Part 2 | "The proof of the new birth is the new life."

Revival scholar James Edwin Orr once said, “The only proof of the new birth is the new life.” As professed followers of Jesus, do we live, think and act differently than before we made our decision to submit our lives to Jesus? Are we growing in God’s Word and asking His Holy Spirit to enable us to live a life that is proof of our NEW life and our new sincere devotion to Him?

Or do we presently believe that all we had to do is pray a prayer to get our heavenly ticket punched and just go on living like we always have? While our salvation is indeed a free gift, what does the Bible reveal about our new-found life in Him? Does the Bible instruct us to continue living separate from our old self and our old ways? In this study we’ll find the answer to these questions.
